1. IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE

George Bailey spends his entire life giving up his big dreams for the good of his town. But on Christmas Eve, he is broken and suicidal over the misplacing of an $8000 loan and the machinations of the evil millionaire, Mr. Potter. His guardian angel, Clarence, falls to Earth, literally, and shows him how his town, family, and friends would turn out if he had never been born. George meant so much to so many people; should he really throw it all away? This movie helps us realize that our life holds value and giving up over petty failures is not the best decision.
2. TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD

The movie is adopted from the novel of the same name by Harper Lee. A lawyer defends an innocent black man of rape charges by a teenaged white girl. The lawyer not only defends the black man but also helps his kids against the prejudices. This movie tells how a white man fights for a black guy which needed a lot of courage at that time and also how racism can affect innocent people.
3. SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION

Wrongly convicted, Andy Dufresne (Robbins) is sentenced to two consecutive life terms in in Maine’s Shawshank prison for the murders of his wife and her lover. Set in the 1940s, the film shows how Andy learns to get by in the brutal confines of prison, even earning the respect of his fellow inmates, most notably the longtime convict “Red” Redding. It shows us how two imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency. Very inspiring.
4. THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS

Based on the true story of Chris Gardner. He invests his family’s savings in portable bone-density scanners which he tries to sell to doctors. This investment breaks the family, bringing troubles to the relationship with his wife that leaves him alone with his son. He takes an unpaid internship to become a stockbroker, fighting against his peers for a position in the firm. He goes from challenges to challenges. Chris’s story shows what it takes to succeed regardless of the difficulties. It give us an idea of happiness being abstract. It is something you can only pursue and not achieve. Most of all it give us a message “You have a dream, you gotta protect it”. The story of an underdog a normal man with no special skills someone we can all relate to, his biggest struggle is his “Life” and biggest fight “Poverty”. Greatest tenacity story ever!

Rocky Balboa, a small-time boxer gets a supremely rare chance to fight the heavy-weight champion, Apollo Creed, in a bout in which he strives to go the distance for his self-respect, while at the same time he finds love in the arms of a shy, reclusive girl who works in the local pet store. It’s not just a tale of a champion but it also depicts the inner struggle of a human being. Fighting the external and internal fear and standing against all odds and beating your opponent no matter what.

Forrest has an IQ of around 75, and is a little “slow”. However, the film demonstrates that this is no reason for having a hindered life.
