Milk (200 ml).
Water (20 ml).
Some good quality of Indian Tea (tea
leaves are preferred)
Cardamom (Illaichi)
Sugar to taste
Basil leaves (Tulsi)
Ginger flakes
Take a pan, and add water, tea or tea leaves, and sugar
to it.
Put the burner on low flame.
Heat the tea until it turns a reddish brown colour.
Take Basil leaves and ginger flakes, and crush them
together. Add this to the mixture.
Add milk and crushed cardamom to the mixture.
Increase the flame.
Stop the burner when the milk rises to the top of the
pan.
Filter all the solid out.
Serve hot with biscuits or snacks or cakes.
